Terms of Service
1. Who we are
DNA 8 Ball ("the game") is a pool game for the web, made under the DNA GAMES name by DNA Style (company no. 306274986, Israel) ("we", "us"). Contact: 2010models@gmail.com.
2. Accepting these terms
When you tap Accept on the "Before we begin" screen, or play the game, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't play.
3. The game is free to play
- There are no real-money purchases in the game. You can't pay for anything inside it.
- Gems, stars, XP, ratings and season points are earned only by playing. They have no money value, can't be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money or anything else, and exist only on your device.
- All cues and tables are cosmetic. Every item plays exactly the same.
- Items marked "coming soon" are not available yet. If paid items are ever offered, they will come with their own clear terms and price shown before any payment, and nothing will be charged without your clear action.
- There is no gambling and no prizes in money or goods.
4. Signing in
You can play as a guest. You may also be offered to continue with Google, Facebook or email, or to sign in with Apple. Signing in only shows your name and picture in the game on your device. Those services have their own terms, and your use of them is between you and them.
5. Opponents
Opponents in the game are computer players (AI) and are labelled as such. The ranked ladder is local to your device.
6. Fair use
Please don't try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the game, use it to harm others, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
7. Your progress
Your progress is saved in your browser's storage on this device. Clearing the browser data, using private browsing or changing device can erase it, and we can't restore it, because we don't keep a copy.
8. Our rights
The game, its code, art, sounds, names and logos belong to us or to our licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive right to play it. The game is not connected to, or endorsed by, any other pool game or brand.
9. Changes and availability
We may update, change or stop the game or these Terms. When the Terms change, the game will ask you to accept the new version before you keep playing.
10. No warranty, limited liability
The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost progress or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.
11. Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
